Life at Twin Shores

Go To TwinShores Facebook Page

One of the major reasons that people like living at Twin Shores (in addition to the low cost relative to the alternatives on Longboat Key) is because Twin Shores is a true community. Residents get to know their neighbors well, participate in many social and other activities together and help each other out.

The layout of our facilities encourages this close-knit community feeling: all of the living units are on “the ground floor”. Residents walk directly outside to go anywhere, including the private beach, marina and clubhouse. Ordinary daily living tasks, such as collecting one’s mail or disposing of the trash, often develop into an opportunity to stay in touch with other residents or join in a park beautification or other project.

A very nice September 2012 news article on Twin Shores can be found here.
